  • Standard processing time is up to three (3) business days.
  • No weekend deliveries are available.
  • K2 Snowboarding is unable to ship to PO Boxes.
  • Unless specified otherwise, all orders are shipped using standard ground service (3-7 business days).

Order Fulfiller Contact Information

  • As soon as your order has been marked for fulfillment, you will be notified whether your order is being shipped by K2 Snowboarding directly or by one of our retail fulfillment partners. Retail Returns

Retail Returns

If your K2 product was purchased from a local retailer rather than from K2snowboarding.com, you must bring your product back to the retailer. Please do not contact K2 Snowboarding regarding returning a product that you purchased from a retailer. We are only able to accept returns for products that were purchased at k2snowboarding.com and were fulfilled and shipped directly by K2.

For purchases from K2snowboarding.com

  • All items have a 30-day money-back guarantee
  • Items must be in new/unused condition with original packaging and hangtags
  • Only defective product may be returned after use or without hangtags
  • For defective warranty returns, please reference our Warranty Section

If your order was shipped from a Retail Partner, please contact Shopatron or the Retailer for additional return instructions.

Please allow two (2) to three (3) weeks from product arrival for processing. Refunds typically appear on credit card accounts one (1) billing cycle from the original date of purchase. If your return was a gift, the credit will go to the original purchaser of the item.

Easy "Shopatron" Returns

For purchases from k2snowboarding.com

  • Please process all returns through Shopatron - our order processor
  • Log into your Shopatron Account
  • In your Shopatron account, select "Request an RMA"
  • Select the item(s) you wish to return and click "Create RMA"
  • Once you have created your RMA, you will receive an email from Shopatron with additional instructions.
  • Please place your product in its original packaging into a separate return box, and do not write on the product’s packaging or use it to return the package.
  • Please write your RMA # on the outside of the package prior to shipping
  • Please ship your return to the address on your order invoice or packing slip (it may be a retail partner)
  • If you did not receive a packing slip, your invoice is available in your Shopatron Account.

Warranty

Warranty Policy

Thanks for your K2 Snowboarding purchase! K2 Snowboarding warranties are reserved for the original purchaser only. Make sure to keep a copy of your original purchase receipt or invoice (Proof of Purchase), in the unlikely event that you need warranty service. If the original Proof of Purchase cannot be provided on a warranty return, K2 will use the manufacturing date as the start of the warranty period.

Items will be repaired or replaced if, upon inspection at an authorized K2 Service Center and sent to and agreed upon by a K2 Warranty Service Technician, they are found to be defective in materials or workmanship.

In the event an exact product replacement (Model, size, and/or color) is no longer available, we will replace your product with one of comparable performance, size, and value. This applies to replacement parts as well.

K2 Limited Warranty for Snowboards

K2 warrants this product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of (1) year from the original date of purchase at retail.

K2 Limited Warranty for Boots

K2 warrants this product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of (1) year from the original date of purchase at retail.

K2 Limited Warranty for Bindings

K2 warrants this product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of (1) year from the original date of purchase at retail.

K2 Limited Warranty for Helmets

K2 warrants this product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of (1) year from the original date of purchase at retail.

K2 Limited Warranty for Clothing and Accessories

K2 warrants this product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of (180) days from the original date of purchase at retail.

Warranty Parts Requests

If you have a user serviceable product under warranty and need a replacement part, please see your dealer or fill out the Warranty Parts Request Form.

Some colors are only available in very limited supplies and often sell out quickly. In the event we do not have an exact replacement part, we will send a functional replacement in any available color.

*Please note: A digital photo of the product showing the defect and a digital photo of the original sales receipt will be required for verification of eligibility. If you do not have access to a digital camera, please see your authorized K2 dealer to complete your warranty part request.

What is covered by Warranty?

What is Covered

  • Structural cracks on the top sheet, base, core, edge, sidewall due to a manufacturing defect.
  • Delaminating of top sheet, base, sidewall, edge, tip and tail protectors due to a manufacturing defect.
  • Stripped, spinning, or misaligned inserts. (Note: Inserts that are stripped due to improper mounting are not repairable, and are not considered a material flaw.)
  • Damage to boot stitching, zippers, & Velcro tabs that is not the result of normal wear and tear.
  • Delaminating of boot sole.
  • Cracked plastic and metal binding parts that do not have any signs of impact damage
  • Broken buckle springs

What is Not Covered

  • Any problem resulting from impact, misuse, abuse, or neglect. This includes but is not limited to rail and rock damage.
  • Cosmetic issues including top sheet dents or chips, sun-faded graphics, and edge oxidation or rust.
  • Board damage resulting from improper mounting of bindings, including the use of incorrect mounting hardware, the mounting of non-K2 bindings, or base dimples in the binding insert area resulting from improper mounting.
  • Damage caused by any modifications made outside of the K2 facility.
  • Boot damage from resting board steel edge on boot.
  • Normal wear and tear, i.e. boot laces.
  • Binding hardware that is stripped or that has fallen off due to a lack of normal maintenance.
  • Lost Straps, buckles, highbacks, and all other parts resulting from loose hardware. Note: Tightening all binding hardware should be done every few times that you ride.

Returning Product for Warranty

We are unable to process warranty returns without a copy of the original Proof of Purchase showing the product is within the warranty time-frame and that you are the original purchaser.

Product Purchased from a Retailer

Product purchased from a retailer must be returned to the point of purchase. The retailer will then process the warranty with K2 Snowboarding on your behalf.

If you cannot return to your original retailer - if you moved, for example - you may bring the product to any nearest authorized K2 dealer; they will happily take care of your warranty issue for you. To find your closest K2 dealer, reference our Dealer Locator.

If your product was purchased directly from k2snowboarding.com, all warranty-related inquiries must be directed to your order fulfiller. You can find contact information for your order fulfiller on your order Packing Slip and in your Shopatron Account, on your online invoice.

Our fulfillment partner will then process the warranty claim with us on your behalf.

If your order was fulfilled directly from K2 Snowboarding, please contact K2 Snowboarding Customer Service. A K2 Service Rep will happily provide you with an RMA # for you to submit your product for warranty inspection. After receiving an RMA # from K2, ship all warranty returns to:

What is Shopatron

What is Shopatron?

Shopatron is the order processor for K2 Snowboarding.

This means that after purchasing product from k2snowboarding.com, you will receive email communication regarding order and shipment status from Shopatron. In addition to email communication, all returns are processed through Shopatron. To initiate a return, cancel an order, or check order status, log into your Shopatron Account. At any point in the order process you may be contacted by Shopatron, K2, or a K2 Snowboarding retail fulfillment partner directly.

What are Order Fulfillment Partners?

By ordering product from k2snowboarding.com you are directly supporting your local retailers.

Through the Shopatron tool, when an order is placed through k2snowboarding.com, the order is assigned to one of our K2 Snowboarding specialty retailers for fulfillment and shipment. Orders are assigned on a first-come first-served basis, with priority given to those retailers who are located closest to you. When needed, K2 will ship all orders that cannot be fulfilled by one of our retail partners.

Through this system, K2 customers are able to support their local K2 shops when making online purchases.

K2 Snowboarding makes every effort to keep items in stock. Occasionally, even after an order has been placed, products will be oversold. If this happens, you will be notified immediately that part, or all, of your order cannot be fulfilled.

Partial Shipments

If only part of your order is unavailable, the remaining items will be shipped to you. Your account will only be charged for the shipped items.

Split Shipments

Because we rely on the support of our specialty retailers in the fulfillment and shipment of online orders, it is likely that your order will be shipped by one of these retailers. When product becomes sparse, it is also possible that your order will be fulfilled by multiple retail partners.

Future Availability

If you are interested in a specific out-of-stock item, continue to check the website periodically and/or contact K2 Snowboarding Customer Service to find out when the product will be made available.

Sponsorship

K2 Snowboarding Sponsorship Info

If you snowboard all the time and constantly progress, sponsors will come to you!

Unfortunately, getting sponsored is not usually that simple. So here are some tips from K2:

  • You must love snowboarding and do it all the time - always pushing yourself to learn new stuff.

  • Once you have ridden for several years and your skills are polished, enter some local contests; you'll get a chance to show everyone how well you shred. You’ll also get a chance to meet shop owners, employees, sales reps, and other snowboarders like yourself. Sponsorship is a lot about who you know, so meet lots of people and be nice.

  • A great first sponsorship is by your local shop. Shops are a good sponsor because you will form lasting friendships and they will help create new opportunities for you. Hang out at the shop and get to know the people who work there. Don’t bug them too much, but find out what it takes to get on their team. The employees and owners know all the snowboard company reps so this will most likely lead to being sponsored by a local sales rep. This is a very good next step.

  • If you still aren't getting hooked up, make a video of your riding. These videos are usually 30 seconds to a minute long, showing the very best snowboarding you can do. As a potential sponsor, we are looking for riders with great personalities (friendly, positive, outgoing, etc.), tremendous technical ability (capable of doing difficult tricks), amazing style (smooth riding), and who absolutely love to snowboard.

  • If you feel you have all of the above traits, we strongly recommend making a video and sending it to K2 Snowboarding ASAP! And remember, there are TONS of good riders out there - why do you stand out?

Tips for Product Use

Is My New Board Ready to Ride?

  • All K2 boards come from the factory ready to ride - sharpened and waxed.
  • Only cambered boards need to be detuned (if you prefer).
  • You do not want to detune a Flatline or Rocker board.

*Detuning is a fix for catchy edges - something that occurs with cambered boards but not with Flatline or Rocker boards.

What Mounting Patterns are My K2 Bindings Compatible With?

We'd like you to be able to choose whatever you want to ride. Our included binding discs are compatible with both 3 and 4 hole insert patterns. View the 3 hole mounting description for more details.

Your K2 Bindings can be mounted to slot systems by purchasing our "Slot Compatible Disc Kit".*

* Please note that slot compatible disc kits will work only with the board manufacturers provided M6 t-nuts on 2011 product or newer.

Discontinued Products

The Clicker Line

In the spirit of continuing innovation, the Clicker line was discontinued after the 2004/2005 season and replaced with Cinch Technology.

Replacement parts for Clicker bindings have since sold out and are no longer available. An online search may turn up dealers carrying “new old stock” in product and parts.

Color Variations on Our Boards

All of our boards have base swap. Base swap is when you see an opposite color way from one board to another. All boards pictured on our site can come with any of the color variations displayed for the various size options.

Boards are shipped randomly and cannot be ordered in specific color ways. Please visit your local K2 dealer to hand pick a color way from their stock that works for you.
